Check to Check is a Windows desktop app published by Gulf Coast Home Maintenance. It was built so your bills stay on your computer. This page explains the little information that does leave it.
Your bills and paychecks
Everything you enter in Check to Check (paydays, bills, amounts, savings, checkmarks) is saved in a file in your Documents folder, in a folder named "Check to Check". It is never sent to us or anyone else. We can't see it, back it up or recover it. Back up that folder yourself if you'd like a copy.
The calendar file you can download from the app is saved to your computer. It only goes somewhere else if you add it to a calendar service such as Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook. That service's own privacy policy then applies.
Buying
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our reseller and merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your name, email address, payment details and billing location to process your order, send your receipt and license key, and handle tax. We receive your name, email address and order details so we can support you. We never see your full card number. See the Lemon Squeezy privacy policy.
License activation
When you enter your license key, the app sends the key and your computer's name to Lemon Squeezy to activate it, and checks the key again from time to time. This keeps track of how many computers use the key. You can deactivate a computer in the app's Settings.
Update check
The app checks this website for a newer version. That request includes no personal information, but like any website visit, our host (Cloudflare) may briefly log your IP address for security.
This website
This site doesn't use advertising, tracking cookies or analytics. Cloudflare, our host, processes basic request information to deliver and protect the site.
If you email us, we use your message only to reply to you. We don't sell or share your information, and we don't send marketing email unless you ask for it.
Children
Check to Check is not directed at children under 13.
